In most modern republics the head of state is termed president, however, the Democratic Republic of Ager Lekki use a different title that have been used since the early literary period of ancient Greece.
The head of state is called "Archon", a Greek word that means "ruler" or "leader" and the lekkian government organization is a system of three office holders being known as the "Archon inter pares", "Archon Magistrate", and the "Polemarch".

Like in all the lekkian organization, to obtain a public degree, each person without distinction, must face an arduous process of preparation resulting in one of the four families defined as "ouro", "ignis", "lucis" and "mentis lucis" been the last one the most high range obtained and worthy for the postulation of Archons aspirants and candidates. After obtain a determined degree, each person assume the respective surname of the corresponding family.

These offices are selected as the result of an election each ten years and during this period the organization is the following:

“Archon inter pares” or “Archon Supreme”

From the Greek word “Archon” (ruler/leader) and the latin term “inter pares” “among equals” which indicates that a person is the most senior of a group of people sharing the same rank or office. The “Archon inter pares” is the chief magistrate, representative of the republican nation-state, personifying the continuity and legitimacy of the state and exercising the political powers.

"Archon magistrate"

Is a judicial officer with limited authority to administer and enforce the law. Like his name (from the latin "magistratus" meaning "master") the "Archon Magistrate" it's the master of all the Ministers and officials, in charge of the fulfilling of their duties and also of their preparation.

"Polemarch"

(from Ancient Greek: πολέμαρχος, polemarchos) The title is composed out of the polemos (war) and archon (ruler/leader) and translates as "warleader" or "warlord". the polemarch It's a commander of the army and this office also had religious and legal functions. Master of the militia, and responsible for the preparation of it. The "Polemarch" guide the nation by the path of peace or by the path of learning through war.
